DIRECTIONS
FROM MONTGOMERY COUNTY
•  Take 270N towards Frederick
•  Take Exit 32, I-70 towards Hagerstown/Baltimore
•  Take the first exit so that you are on I-70E towards Baltimore
•  3 miles down I-70E, take exit 56, 144-Patrick Street (State Police, Sheriff’s Dept., Airport, MVA)
•  At the light, turn left onto Old National Pike / 144E
•  You will go over the Monocracy Scenic River, up an incline and down the same incline and the 2 line road
will become 4, just after it does this, you will want to make your next right.  There are no signs, however, if you
were to take a left, it would Ridgefield Drive and there is a sign for that road.  It is about 2 miles down the road
once you turn onto Old National Pike/144.
•  You will be on a little driveway of sorts that connects you to Baltimore Road.
•  At the stop sign, you will see a house in front of you that has a bunch of junk and cars in their front yard, we
are the house to the right of this one.  It is a little stone front house with a BIG tree and little fence towards the
bottom of the driveway.
•  The aviary in located in our backyard, so please enter the gate in the fence to the left of the garage door (you
will see two Macaws holding a welcome sign next to the correct gate), walk straight on back towards the pond
and there will be steps just before the pond.  Climb those steps and follow the walkway to the aviary.  Please
knock before entering the aviary as there may be a flighted bird free.

FROM HAGERSTOWN, MD
•  Take I-70E towards Baltimore

•  Take 95 towards Baltimore
•  Take I-695 N / Baltimore Beltway Inner Loop towards I-70 / Towson
•  Take exit 16, I-70W towards Frederick/Hagerstown
•  Take exit 59, 144W-Baltimore National Pike towards Frederick
•  You will come to a light, go through this light and make your next left.  There are no signs, however, if you

WARNING:  There are birds that are caged and some that are not.  Most of our "pets" are rescues and do not
have the best of pasts therefore they can be quite temperamental and/or protective when it comes to "their"
home.  With this said, we strongly encourage you not to pet any of the pets or to stick your fingers in any of the
cages.  Small children are certainly welcome but parents, please keep the above in mind with your children.  
And for those parents with children who do not like loud noises, it can be quite loud in the aviary.
